The New York podcast production house has finalists in four categories: Family, Creativity & Marketing, Travel and Mental Health.

Most podcast companies would be happy with one Signal Award nomination. Ginni Media has four.

Ginni Media, the boutique podcast production house founded by Australian former radio host Ginni Saraswati-Cook, has four shows named as finalists in the 2026 Signal Awards: Love & Infertility in Family, Scalable in Creativity & Marketing, Traveling with AAA in Travel, and The Big Silence in Mental Health. The range is wide. One show is about fertility, one with business growth, one with the open road, and one with mental health.

Ginni Media has been here before. At the 2025 Signal Awards, the company won Gold for Best Trailer for the Gary Zukav Deepcast, the podcast launch from New York Times best-selling author Gary Zukav. It also took Silver in the same category for Micro Journeys, hosted by Dan Marrujo, an innovation podcast about the people who make America’s biggest security decisions.

What the Signal Awards Are

The Signal Awards are now in their fifth year. Entries are reviewed by the Signal Awards Judging Academy, an invitation-only group of producers, editors, and audio executives from across the industry. This year’s finalists include Jon Stewart, Amy Poehler, Oprah Winfrey, Anderson Cooper and Michelle Obama, which gives a sense of the company Ginni Media’s shows are keeping.

Winners come in two forms. The Judging Academy picks gold, silver, and bronze honorees in each category. The public picks the Listener’s Choice winners, and that vote is open now through October 15. Last year the Listener’s Choice vote drew more than 385,000 ballots. Winners will be announced on October 20, with a winners’ party in Brooklyn on November 9.

The Four Nominated Shows

Love & Infertility (Family). Couples therapists Dr. Clay Brigance and Ginny Lupka, LPC, both specialists in reproductive grief and loss, host this show for couples facing infertility together. It looks at what IVF, miscarriage, and long months of waiting do to the relationship itself, and how partners can stay close through it.

Scalable (Creativity & Marketing). Journalists and analysts Kaya Yurieff and Jasmine Enberg cover the business side of the creator economy. Each episode cuts past the headlines with sharp analysis and data, helping marketers, investors, and founders understand how creators and companies work together.

Traveling with AAA (Travel). Produced for AAA’s Auto Club Enterprises and hosted by travel writer Angie Orth, this weekly show takes listeners around the country and the world through conversations with travel journalists and industry pros. Longer interviews sit alongside short “Top 5” episodes packed with practical tips for planning the next trip.

The Big Silence (Mental Health, Limited Series & Specials). Hosted by Karena Dawn, a mental health advocate, co-founder of Tone It Up, and New York Times best-selling author, the show works to make mental health an everyday conversation. Dawn talks with psychologists, doctors, spiritual teachers, and people who have lived with mental illness, including Dr. Christine M. Crawford, chief medical officer of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

A Production House That Keeps Growing

Saraswati-Cook got her start in community radio in Melbourne, Australia, and launched her own podcast, The Ginni Show, in 2016. Industry leaders started asking her to help them make podcasts of their own almost right away. By 2018, that demand had grown to a point where she made the big move from Melbourne to New York City to create Ginni Media, a boutique production house that plans, produces, and launches podcasts for brands, organizations, and independent creators.

The past 12 months have been the company’s biggest stretch of growth so far. Ginni Media designed and built two podcast recording studios in Midtown Manhattan, added two studio engineers, two video editors, and dedicated editorial teams. That means more people working on research, story, sound, and video for every show. Each of the four nominated podcasts called for a different approach, and the same expanded team delivered all of them.

The company also grew its physical footprint. In November 2025, Ginni Media opened its headquarters in the same building as the newly built recording studios. Podcasters and content creators can walk in, sit down, and record their episodes with an engineer guiding the session. Since the doors opened, Malala Yousafzai, Robert Herjavec, Tori Kelly, Vicky Nguyen, and Michael J Porter have all recorded there as guests of Ginni Media’s clients.

“We’re thrilled,” said Ginni Saraswati-Cook, founder and CEO of Ginni Media. “Great podcasts come from people who care deeply about the story, and over the past year we’ve invested in exactly those people. Our engineers, editors and producers bring creativity and craft to every episode. To see four of our shows recognized alongside the biggest names in podcasting is a proud moment for our whole team, and for the hosts and brands who trusted us with their voices.”

How to Vote

Listener’s Choice voting is open to anyone until October 15. The links above go straight to each show’s category, so fans of Love & Infertility, Scalable, Traveling with AAA and The Big Silence can vote for all four in a few minutes.
