Four Yoga Apps To Help You Destress and Start Your Yoga Journey

Published on June 27, 2020

I feel like we have entered a phase where we might resort to working out if we are bored enough. No? Maybe that’s just me, well whatever case that you may be in, I feel like everyone has at least tried to better their health in some way in the last couple of months. With many workout apps providing free service since we are stuck at home and the gyms are closed, many people have flocked to those apps to continue their everyday workout regimen, as I have myself.

Many incorporate exercise into their everyday lives, whether it be a hardcore workout or some stretching for 30 minutes. Along with this, many are using this as an outlet to calm themselves or give themselves a break from working at home, taking care of the kids, and whatever else that has to be done during home.

But do you need a real relaxation session and more of a wind-down time? Well why don’t you try out yoga? Yes, we know there are a lot of other fitness apps out there, but did you know that there are just as many yoga apps out there too, and they do just as good as those other apps.

Also if you don’t want to wind all the way down, yoga is an excellent way to stretch out your body and calm your mind. Here are some excellent yoga apps that will leave you feeling stretched, comfortable, and relaxed once you’re finished.

Glo – Yoga and Meditation

This app is designed to help you feel better and relaxed. This app has not only yoga but also Pilates and meditation practices too. They have many classes on the app from people who are doing it for the first time to those who have been doing it for a while.

Yoga Studio: Mind and Body

You know this is a good app if it was on the App Store for their app of the day. This app is literally what’s in its title; it makes you feel like you are in a studio doing yoga, but instead, you are in the comfort of your own home. They offering many classes from regular stretching classes to classes that are for back pain.

Yoga

This app has all types of yoga classes that you can try out. I have this app on my phone and use it religiously. It’s such a simple app, and all you have to do is pick what type of yoga you want to do for the day. They have classes ranging from “bedtime yoga” to “immunity booster yoga.”

Daily Yoga

Daily Yoga is another useful app that I have already downloaded on my phone. I like this app because not only do they give excellent classes, but they also give daily tips. If you’re up for some core and cardio yoga and work up the right amount of sweat, this is for you.
