Disney Plus has just released a trailer for the cooking show that you have to see. Who doesn’t enjoy an occasional sitting on the couch and binge-watch session of a cooking competition?

From Master Chef, Chopped and my personal favorite The Great British Bake Off, Disney Plus’ new cooking competition will surely be on the list of the most popular cooking shows. Get your popcorn, blankets, and even your spatulas ready for the new cookoff, Be Our Chef, to air on March 27th.

For all those Disney lovers and cooks out there, this is the exclusive Disney cooking competition that you’ve been waiting for. Hosted by The Office’s Angela Kinsey, this series will feature families going head to head with one another for the ultimate grand prize.

Be Our Chef is just like any other cooking competition that you see on TV expect this has a little Disney magic added into the mixture.

Here’s how the show will operate: Five Disney food-loving families will compete against one another to create their best Disney inspired dish. Dishes that range From a Frozen themed cake to a meal based on Disney’s Big Hero 6. Whatever Disney movie or character you can name will be there, so your favorite Disney characters are sure to make an appearance throughout the series.

In each episode, two of those families will go against each other to win the ultimate grand prize and have their dish served at Disney World as a signature dish. The families will be judged by Disney legendary chefs who have sprinkled a little pixie dust throughout Disney. Be Our Chef will surely be a sweet treat for everyone to watch.

Don’t worry, this isn’t your typical Gordon Ramsey cooking show where you’re going to see two pieces of bread placed upon someone’s ears and hear “I’m an idiot sandwich” ringing through your speakers. It’s much more fun and kid-friendly. These families feature kids ranging from the age of maybe ten years old and up spicing their way into the kitchen. So you can prepare your kids to see Olaf rather than a raging man cursing at everyone in the kitchen.

Of course, with cooking competition comes some drama as seen on the trailer. From burnt cookies to what looks like a paper towel on fire and a voice-over of a frazzled contestant stating, “this could go wrong very fast.” Whatever drama or catastrophe you’re thinking about, they will have it for you and you won’t be disappointed. Check out the trailer below.

I’m excited to see what this show has in store. As someone who cooks and bakes daily, a hardcore Disney lover and Disney Plus member, I’m excited to see the show and the unique, Disney-themed dishes the families can bring to the table—looking forward to see who will take the stand and have their dish served at the most magical place on earth. I’m ready for some Disney magic to be served.
