Here Are 5 Fast-Food Secret Menu Items That Will Make Your Mouth Water in 2020

Published on January 30, 2020

Question for you. When you think of the good ol’ United States of America, What are a few things that come to mind? Freedom? Check. An image of George Washington flying in on a bald eagle waving the American flag? Check. Heaping amounts of delicious fast-food? Check.

Even though fast-food restaurants exist all over the world, The United States of America is the country that consumes the most fast-food than any other country in the entire world. In fact, McDonald’s sells roughly 75 burgers a second nationwide. That is A LOT of beef.

However, I know that most of you are still following your new years resolutions and wont give into the temptations of this article right?

PSYCH! Let’s face it. Most of our new years resolutions are collecting dust along with our gym memberships. So how are we going to feel better? Let’s hit the Drive Thru!

Here are five of the most mouth-watering fast-food secret menu items you may not have known about. If I missed a good one, let me know in the comments. My taste-buds will thank you later.

#5 — The Land, Sea and Air Burger: McDonald’s

Now, I feel like I’ve eaten at McDonald’s quite a bit in my life. A lot. Too often, really. I have a problem….but out of all the times I’ve paid a visit to the legendary burger joint that is McDonald’s I have NEVER thought of a concoction like the Land, Sea and Air burger.

This monster of a sandwich is essentially a Big Mac with an additional chicken patty and fish fillet (hence land, sea and air). However, if you’re trying to cut back calories, you could also opt for a McDouble Land, Sea and Air burger but let’s be real.

When you’re going to decide to combine McFish, McChicken and McDouble, just go big or go home.

#4 — Purple Sprite: Sonic

Heads up guys. This list is going to be packed with A LOT of meat. So in the meantime, here’s a refreshing secret menu item to wash it down.

American drive-in restaurant Sonic has taken Sprite and combined it with Powerade, lemonade and then a splash of cranberry juice.

Definitely something good to battle the meat sweats (especially after eating number 3).

#3 — Meat Mountain: Arby’s

Art can take many forms. Michelangelo chiseled the statue of David out of marble. Despite being deaf, Ludwig Van Beethoven composed the masterpiece that is Symphony No. 9. Edvard Munch painted “The Scream” and it is now one of the world’s most iconic art pieces.

In the world of fast food however, one of man’s greatest artistic creations can be found right at your Arby’s drive thru.

Given the name “Meat Mountain”, I think it’s safe to say that if you’ve ever wanted to scale a mountain like Everest or the Andes, you can now do it from the comforts of your couch!

I recommend you clear your schedule and stay there however because a food coma is pretty much guaranteed. Meat Mountain is a full sampling of Arby’s meats. It includes the following:

  • 2 chicken tenders
  • Bacon
  • Roast turkey
  • Ham
  • Roast beef
  • Corned beef
  • Angus steak
  • Brisket
  • 2 slices of cheese

It’s quite a sight to look at, but it’s also quite an eating experience.

#2 — Quesarito: Chipotle

Why is this not an actual thing?? Chipotle has taken your average burrito, wrapped it up in a cheese quesadilla shell and that sound you heard just now was your mind being absolutely blown by this cheesy delicious concoction.

While this beautiful masterpiece does take a while to make it is well worth the wait as well as a testament to Chipotle’s dedication to customer satisfaction

#1 — Suicide Burger: Burger King

Bring your defibrillators folks. This thing is a heart stopper. Burger King’s Suicide Burger secret menu item is one cheeseburger that seriously packs on the meat.

It contains 4 beef patties, 4 slices of cheese, 4 slices of bacon and Burger King’s special “Stacker sauce” all crammed between two sesame seed buns.

There’s not really much to say about this one, sometimes a picture speaks a thousand words. A thousand meat filled greasy and delicious words.
