To celebrate the recent release of the new movie, Booking.com is helping fans live out their creepiest, kookiest, dreams by creating a replica of the Addams family hotel Mansion in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. One-night stays are available starting on October 28th, and only cost $101.10 (in honor of the movie’s release date).
The hotel will be available until November 1st, which means only a few lucky guests will be able to enjoy this fully-immersive experience. Guests will get to watch a screening of the new movie, as well as wander through the house and play with the props. The house comes complete with Lurch’s usual “you rant” greeting at the sound of the doorbell, Morticia’s carnivorous plants, and Wednesday’s favorite headless toy. Rumor has it that if you’re lucky, you might run into Thing… or it might run into you!
It’s a three-bedroom, 19th-century townhouse in Clinton Hill, so you know there’s plenty of room to recreate all the scenes you’ve ever dreamed of. This hotel is family-friendly, accommodating four adult guests and any children.

The living room is the ideal goth dream, with a polar bear rug, Gomez’s swords, Morticia’s carnivorous plants, and gorgeous Victorian-themed black and red furniture. Visitors will be watching a screening of the movie here, while snacking on some spooky-themed treats. Then, retire to one of the three bedrooms. Pugsley’s is full of inventions – labeled with the correct warning signs of course, and a bear trap in the corner. Wednesday’s room is everything a little girl can dream of – headless dolls, an Ouija board, lots of candles, some sinister-looking toys, and a bed with a guillotine headboard.

Or, live the ultimate dream at the Addams family hotel as Gomez and Morticia in their bedroom, which features a few (rubber) snakes around for decoration, gothic furniture, a ball and chain (wouldn’t be their room without it!), damaged blinds on the windows, and a large, four-poster bed with the velvet curtains.

The Addams Family was created by cartoonist Charles Addams back in 1938 as a satirical take on American life. Since then, the Addams Family has become a family classic (and a cult classic… and a Halloween classic!). What began as a panel cartoon strip soon introduced a plethora of characters (like Thing, Lurch, and Cousin IT), a live-action TV show, several movies, two animated series, and now a brand-new movie, released this weekend on October 13. The franchise was revived in the early 90s with the release of The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993). With stars like Anjelica Huston (who was nominated twice for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress), Christina Ricci, Christopher Lloyd, Rail Julia, and Joan Cusack, the movies once again revived America’s love for this bizarre-loving bunch.
In the most recent movie, the Addams bunch face their most serious trial yet… Moving to New Jersey.
Creating themed hotel rooms seems to be a new marketing trend – as companies are beginning to realize that people will pay for great experiences.
So if you’ve always wanted to live like an Addams, set your alarm for October 28th at noon, because those bookings for the Addams family hotel will go quickly!
