Fertility has become a much more open conversation in recent years, with more women sharing everything from IVF journeys to egg freezing decisions, helping to destigmatize fertility treatments and encourage more women to pursue care when they need it. But for many, the experience can still feel overwhelming and impersonal.

That’s something Spring Fertility hoped to change when it launched in 2016. The goal? Fix what was broken in the industry: one-size-fits-all treatment, patients feeling like a number, and limited transparency. Over the past decade, Spring has helped thousands of patients navigate their fertility journeys with confidence, clarity, and trust.

“We built Spring to set a new global standard and combine exceptional clinical outcomes with a truly human, personalized experience,” said Dr. Peter Klatsky, Co-Founder of Spring Fertility. “The goal was to prove that cutting-edge science and exceptional patient experience didn’t need to be mutually exclusive.”

From the beginning, Spring focused on putting the patient at the center of every decision. They started by looking at the entire patient journey, then addressing every pain point. “Two decisions defined our culture: first, assigning every patient a dedicated care team,” said Dr. Klatsky. “We found that patients valued being cared for by a team who knew them and became their partner throughout the process. We didn’t just want to be their medical provider, we wanted to be their friend and partner too. Second, we hired for heart. We prioritized nurses and staff who were enthusiastic, empathetic, and genuinely believed fertility care could be better.”

Spring provides a money-back guarantee on egg freezing, called the Spring Promise. If patients freeze a specific number of eggs at Spring and are unable to achieve a successful pregnancy with them in the future, they will refund the amount paid for the cycle. Someone freezing eggs today may not come back to use them for two, five, or ten years, so they wouldn’t know the outcome until then. Spring felt that if patients were placing long-term trust in them, they should also share the responsibility.

As Spring celebrates its 10th anniversary, it’s also celebrating the milestone of 10,000 pregnancies, with countless patients achieving success after previous setbacks. The past decade has also seen a shift in how people approach family planning, with conversations about fertility becoming more normalized and open.

“One of the most meaningful shifts is how proactive people have become about their fertility,” said Dr. Klatsky. “Patients are no longer waiting until they’re struggling to conceive. They’re coming in earlier, asking better questions, and thinking intentionally about their futures, and that’s a really positive change.”

Looking to the future, Spring is committed to continuing its mission. “The next decade is going to be transformative,” Dr. Klatsky says. “We’ll continue building a network of the best physicians and deepening our commitment to the patient experience that has defined Spring from the beginning. Scientifically, we’re excited about continuing to push the field forward.”

As Spring Fertility celebrates ten years of redefining fertility care, its mission remains the same: to treat patients as people first, empower them with information, and offer exceptional outcomes.
