Lena Keith is a real estate professional with Pivot Realty Group, serving Northern Kentucky and the surrounding communities. A longtime resident of Union, Kentucky, she spent her earlier career as an educator before moving into real estate. She sees a common thread between the two, since both rely on building relationships, earning trust, and helping people work through decisions that matter. That connection is the foundation of how she serves her clients. Buying or selling a property is one of the biggest financial and personal decisions someone will make, and she works to help clients understand every step. “I believe people make better decisions when they feel informed, supported, and confident in the person guiding them,” she said. She has been consistently recognized as one of the top agents in her brokerage, and she brings a practical view to the work as a real estate investor and Airbnb owner. That experience gives her an understanding of the business from both sides of the transaction. She is involved in community leadership through the Gallatin County Chamber of Commerce. Above all, she wants clients to know they have an advocate who cares about their success, not just about closing a sale.

A Teacher’s Approach to Real Estate

Lena’s background in education carries directly into her work today. She wants her clients to understand their options, feel confident in their choices, and know someone is looking out for their best interests. Her clients include homeowners preparing to sell, buyers in a competitive market, and investors looking to build wealth through real estate. Many are facing major life transitions. “They need more than someone to manage paperwork,” she said. “They need an experienced advocate who listens, communicates honestly, and develops a strategy around their goals.”

More Than a Listing

For Lena, adding value means doing more than listing a property and waiting for a buyer. She looks for creative ways to market each property, watches for opportunities others may overlook, and adjusts her approach to fit the client and the home. Strategic negotiation and steady communication are part of every transaction. “My investment experience helps me understand real estate from a financial and practical perspective, while my educator background reminds me that knowledge and trust are essential to good decisions,” she explained.

Recognition and Referrals

Lena began her real estate career with Pivot Realty Group, founded by Mark Perkins. Headquartered in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern KY region, Pivot serves residential and commercial clients across six states. The brokerage’s vision of building a client-centered company closely aligned with Lena’s beliefs about educating and empowering her clients to make informed decisions with their best interests in mind. Supported by Pivot’s collaborative culture and commitment to agent development, Lena quickly found success, earning the brokerage’s Catching Fire award and her first Pivot Peak award during her first full year. She has earned the Pivot Peak award every year since. She was also named a Regional Rookie of the Year by RISMedia, appeared as a guest on its podcast, and received a 5 Star Agent award. Still, when asked about her proudest accomplishment, Lena points to something beyond the awards. “The biggest achievement may be the continued referrals and reviews from happy clients,” she said.

Lessons She Carries Forward

Lena is open about one of the most important lessons she has learned. Caring deeply about an outcome does not mean she can control every part of it, since people, finances, and timing can change unexpectedly. She focuses instead on what she can control: educating clients, communicating honestly, preparing thoroughly, and advocating for them.

That thinking shows up in her advice. She encourages clients to let the data guide the strategy before deciding on price, timing, or a next move. She asks them to keep communication open and trust the process. She also reminds them not to let pressure rush a major decision. “Real estate is both personal and financial,” she said. “Take the time to understand your options, ask questions, and make decisions based on what’s right for you.”

Investing in Warsaw and Looking Ahead

Lena is expanding her personal investment in Warsaw, Kentucky, through Airbnb properties and the purchase of a home in the community. She is interested in how real estate can support the growth of smaller communities while creating opportunities for property owners and visitors. That same interest led her to take on the role of Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce there. “Real estate is about more than transactions,” she said. “It’s about becoming part of the communities we serve.”

Looking ahead, she is exploring ways to expand her support team so she can serve more clients without giving up the communication, care, and attention to detail they expect from her.

Lena measures success by more than what happens at the closing table. She wants to build relationships that last, remain a trusted resource for future decisions, and keep contributing to the communities she serves. For the people who work with her, that means having someone in their corner well after the sale is complete.
