The Lead’s Flagship Innovation Summit 2019 is right around the corner, providing the fashion and retail community with the opportunity to engage in productive discussion in an elevated environment and explore what’s next for the industry.

The Lead is bringing together more than 1,000 individuals from start-up tech CEOs to brand and retail leaders, experts, deal-makers, investors, press, academics, and influencers to talk about the future of retail. Innovation is consistent and by creating a space for those in the industry to get together, indulge in panels, have talks in breakout groups, it gives all companies and brands a chance to push their businesses forward by learning how to apply these tactics to their own work.

Talks and panel discussions include topics on Silicon Valley & the art of the fashion industry, how humans and machines can create a new customer experience, the “thrifting” and sustainable fashion market, the future of the supply chain, financing digital native brands, creating a community around your brand, algorithms in the fashion industry, and more. You can see the full agenda here.

While there are keynote speakers and discussions, throughout it all The Lead is featuring The Innovation Village, a 15,000 square foot assemblage of brands, companies, and individuals premiering all things innovation – in a setting that promotes relationships first.

The Lead’s Flagship Innovation Summit has created a community that features apparel, footwear, accessories, beauty, and home products. Attendees from top national and international brands will have a chance to learn from start-up CEOs and digital native brands, and vice versa.

This latest event is one in a series The Lead has been focusing on since the start of 2018. Creating a place where tech experts and fashion leaders can converge and collaborate to keep the industry thriving. Changes in technology have caused a revolution in the way major brands have done retail business for centuries, forcing companies to adapt to new ways. At the same time, millennial brands and crowdfunding have enabled a lot of new entrepreneurs to reach advanced heights. Focusing on the positive and the creation of a new industry, the founders of The Lead found is necessary to find a way to bridge the gap between retail and the technology of Silicon Valley.

The Lead’s events have been quite successful due to the careful curation and care with which the panels, speakers, and groups are planned. The Lead emphasizes meaningful connections between people in the industry and places a focus on start-up driven innovation that brings value.

The Lead’s Flagship Innovation Summit 2019 is running from July 9-10 at the Brooklyn Expo Center at 72 Noble Street. You can register to attend or feature your company here.
