Web Summit has been one of the preferred events for tech startups to find support and advice from major investors and this edition will be no different. As Web Summit continues to draw closer, investors and startups are getting ready to take full advantage of one of the major business conferences in the world.

In one of the top side events (that runs contemporaneous to Grit Daily’s Speaker’s and Media Dinner with Filecoin) The Untitled Ventures has invited TechCrunch veteran Mike Butcher for a fireside chat and a pitch session to bring a unique experience for those participating in the event. As part of the Eastern Europe-focused Deep Tech Night party, 5 tech startups will be chosen to pitch in front of The Untitled Ventures and Mike Butcher. The pitches will be in English. For the uninitiated, Mike Butcher is British.

In addition, Mike Butcher and The Untitled Ventures will be commenting on the pitches, providing participants with important insights and advice to lead their projects to success. As TechCrunch’s editor-at-large, Mike Butcher has become one of the most influential figures in the tech industry, having forged connections with and covered the rise of those actively shaping it. Coverage is in no way guaranteed as part of this event.

Founded by Konstantin Siniushin and Igor Lutz, The Untitled Ventures is fresh off of a $100M raise. Mary Glazkova, who will moderate a panel titled “Common Mistakes When Pitching Your Deep Tech Startup” and Ksenia Golubeva, who handles startup relations at Untitled, will also be present.

The party will take place on November 2, 2021, at the toney Java Rooftop, with founders and employees of deep-tech startups being invited to the event, which will count with participation from investment firms, business angels, and international media outlets.

As there will be a limit to how many people can attend the event, you should register as soon as possible if you want to be one of the 150 startups that pitch. Participants will also be required to provide European Vaccination passports, a PCR test done 72 hours previous to the event, or a negative rapid COVID test at the time of entering the venue.

Deep Tech Night has been one of the most popular events in Lisbon during Web Summit, having taken place since 2017. The event represents a major opportunity for entrepreneurs, investors, and media to network and keeps up to date with the latest trends in the tech world.
