The first of its kind, S’More TV– in-app, original, celebrity video content–was created to facilitate more organic conversations around content.

Based on the concept of getting to know a person before matching with them, S’More brings a less superficial approach to the dating app landscape. S’More is the first mainstream dating app to launch a celebrity video content channel in-app. The content is exclusive to S’More and meant to spark more organic conversations around dating and lead to more authentic connections. The new feature has already increased time on the app by nearly 50 percent, and new conversations by 13 percent for beta users. S’More TV rolled out to everyone on April 23.

Newly launched, S’More TV is a first-of-its-kind dating app feature meant to excite and engage daters through useful dating advice, tips, and crazy dating stories from their favorite celebrities. Daters can comment on videos and reply to comments from other app users, sparking organic conversations and connections beyond user profiles. S’More has taken some of their most entertaining celebrity videos from their widely popular S’More Live on IGTV and integrated them in-app– initial content available includes videos from Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger, Alexis Waters and Raven Gates from The Bachelor, Congressman Brian Sims, Real Housewives of Dallas’ D’Andra Simmons, Jordan Kimball from The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, Fox Sports host Joy Taylor, Seaburn Williams from Netflix’s The Circle, and Shane Coopersmith from Below Deck, and more.

S’More has nearly 45 hours of exclusive celebrity video content that it can add to its app. Including recent episodes with Sarah Miller and Nichole Holmes from Netflix’s Marriage or Mortgage, Danielle Staub from Real Housewives of New Jersey, Cary Deuber from Real Housewives of Dallas, and Doug Hehner from Married at First Sight.

The interface will function similarly to TikTok; content will roll vertically, and users can comment and like videos. Users receive a notification when someone comments on their comment, sparking a larger discussion and maybe even a connection! S’More users can keep the conversation public within the video feed or take it private and connect more intimately.

“Daters want more than a superficial headshot out of their dating apps, especially post COVID,” says Adam Cohen Aslatei, CEO of S’More. “The majority of singles we talk to want new ways to connect on-app that go beyond awkward icebreakers and surface-level niceties. That’s why we launched S’More TV, our first community feature that drives more organic and substantive conversations. The content is also very entertaining and practical!”

Similar to Netflix’s Love is Blind, S’More gives love-seekers all the tools to learn more about a person before evaluating them based on appearance; the more you talk, the clearer their profile photos become. Profiles are bright and fun, featuring multi-media icons with drag and drop capabilities across categories like ‘Dream Trip,’ Zodiac Sign, ‘Turn On,’ Favorite Cuisine, Current Mood, and more, or maximum personalization, blurred video chat, and 100 percent verified users through profile authentication, making S’More the first catfish-free dating app.

Unlike other dating apps, S’More provides daters with fun, creative ways of getting to learn more about a person.
