Just over a decade after joining the mining industry, Dominguez committed to his leadership role and established his own business. For nearly four years, the company has ensured the streamlined operation of numerous fleets.
As the owner of Quality Mechanical Repair, Dominguez is responsible for managing a complex business while supervising a team of 35 employees. Maintaining mining equipment requires careful record-keeping and a robust understanding of machinery and circuits, among other factors. Despite these challenges, Dominguez has built a business that operations can rely on.
Quality Mechanical Repair largely works in underground mining but also in surface mining operations. The company’s services range from mobile equipment repair, line boring welding, engine rebuilds, day-to-day truck maintenance, and a variety of other functions. Of course, Quality Mechanical Repair is perhaps best recognized for offering service contracts for full-fleet maintenance.
