Axe Compute relocates its headquarters to Brickell, bringing its chief executive and other leaders to Miami as the company begins local hiring. The new office at 801 Brickell Avenue has room for about 20 people, and the company says the move will put its leadership closer to partners, investors and customers, according to the company’s relocation announcement.

Several current employees, including CEO Christopher Miglino, are relocating from Pittsburgh. More employees are expected to follow in early 2027. The team told Refresh Miami that it has begun hiring locally, with roles expected across administration and other business functions as the company grows. It did not provide a hiring target.

Axe Compute Relocates Its Leadership Team

The Brickell office will focus on corporate leadership, sales and business development. Axe Compute said Miami’s international business presence and its finance and technology sectors give it access to talent and bring it closer to business contacts. The company also cited Miami’s tax treatment as a factor in attracting and retaining staff.

Many of the company’s investors and business partners are already based in Miami, according to its team. Axe did not name those contacts, and it said client relationships remain confidential. The move is therefore presented as a change in where leadership works, rather than an announcement of new customer agreements.

“We’ve also begun hiring locally and anticipate adding roles across administration and other business functions as the company grows,” the team said. The statement describes plans, but does not set a timetable or number of positions. The company expects to expand its Miami presence throughout 2027.

What the Miami Office Will Handle

Axe provides businesses with dedicated access to GPUs, chips used to train and run AI models. The company says it designs, sets up, owns and operates those computing systems across multiple locations. Customers can choose hardware, location and setup, according to the company.

Axe Compute trades on Nasdaq under the ticker AGPU. Miglino became its CEO in February 2026. Before joining Axe, he co-founded SRAX, a fintech and data company, where he led its Nasdaq listing and built software for public companies to track and communicate with investors. He also co-founded DNA Holdings Venture, a blockchain investment firm.

The company has not announced GPU or data center deployments in South Florida as part of the relocation. Its team said the Brickell site will serve corporate leadership, sales and business development, while its computing infrastructure continues to operate across multiple locations.

The company’s plan places the Miami office near a broader pool of business and technology contacts, while leaving hiring numbers and local infrastructure plans unspecified. For context on other leadership changes, Grit Daily has covered a Florida sales leadership appointment, US AI leadership and talent, and Radian Group leadership appointments.

For now, Axe Compute relocates its corporate leadership and commercial work to Brickell, with additional employees expected in early 2027. The company says it plans to grow its Miami presence throughout 2027, but has not announced a local hiring target or South Florida computing deployment.
