Superstar Kesha is still in the midst of fighting with her producer, Dr. Luke both inside the court and out. Attorneys for the singer claim that Kesha still hasn’t been paid royalties for her album. Also, Kesha said that Dr. Luke was the one who leaked a message between her and Lady Gaga where Kesha wrote that Dr. Luke had raped herself and Katy Perry.

Dr. Luke’s PR team already responded to the text message, claiming that these were all lies and baseless accusations.

Kesha’s legal team made a statement to People, saying:

“Dr Luke forces Kesha to continue working for him, and earns money off her work,’ the statement said in part.

Kesha, however, has yet to be paid any music royalties from the highly successful, Grammy-nominated Rainbow album nor even from “Timber” which was released in 2013.

While repeatedly making inflammatory statements to the press attacking Kesha, Dr Luke has fought vigorously to keep the actual evidence in the case from seeing the light of day.”

Dr. Luke’s legal team answered that statement this morning.

“Contrary to her latest defamatory press statement, the evidence, including sworn testimony, will show the full extent and scope of the scurrilous falsehoods Kesha spread.

As the old and true adage goes: Oh what a tangled web you weave when first you practice to deceive.”

Documents obtained and leaked by the Daily Mail showed that another singer was mentioned as a victim during the lawsuit between Kesha and Dr. Luke, but Katy Perry wasn’t specified by name.

On the other hand, she was deposed as part of the lawsuit, although the court records were closed and we don’t know what was said.

Katy Perry and Dr. Luke haven’t worked together in years, and the entertainer never came out with any official allegations. When asked why she stopped working with doctor luke, Perry simply stated, “I had to leave the nest.”

The court documents obtained by the Daily Mail said:

“On Feb. 26, 2016, (Kesha) sent a text message to Stefani Germanotta p/k/a Lady Gaga which repeated (Kesha’s) false claim that Gottwald had raped her.

In this text message, (Kesha) also falsely asserted that Gottwald had also raped Kathryn Hudson p/k/a Katy Perry.

Following this text message conversation, and with (Kesha’s) encouragement, Ms Germanotta spread negative messages about Gottwald in the press and on social media.”

The court documents also discuss Lady Gaga’s “defamatory statements” made over twitter bad-mouthing Dr. Luke.

Kesha first filed suit against Dr. Luke in 2014, alleging that his abuse and sexual assault caused her to develop an eating disorder, leading her to seek treatment in a rehab facility.

Dr. Luke retaliated with a defamation lawsuit. He continues to deny all claims that he had ever drugged and raped Kesha or anyone else.

Kesha is continuing to fight to get out of her contract with Dr. Luke, and it’ll be interesting to see how these new accusations play out.
