Lauren Hamden is often identified as the twin sister of Katie Hamden; however, the blue-eyed beauty exclusively told Ruthless Media that her routine varies from her sister’s.
For starters, Lauren values nature. When she’s not working her angles behind the camera, she likes to take a walk in the woods, go ATV riding, sit beachside or bathe in the sun. “I don’t even have to be doing anything. As long as I’m outside in the sunshine, I instantly feel better. Nature is priceless, yet it’s the best medicine,” she shared.
The Instagram model’s food intake is next on the list. Lauren detailed how she strictly watches what she eats and focuses on proteins and healthy fats. “I don’t skimp on meals,” she said. “I work out a lot and need the fuel to maintain energy. My favorite meals are yogurt and fruit bowls, cottage cheese, chicken and vegetables… anything that will keep me full but not uncomfortable.”

She continued, “I think it’s so important to keep a healthy diet because, honestly, the healthier you eat, the better you feel — it’s inevitable.”
To go along with her diet, Lauren said that staying active “is essential,” adding, “Whether it’s a walk, a gym session or light yoga, a workout helps both my physical and mental wellbeing.” Though she does grant herself a rest day each week, the model noted that “rest days are just as important as the active days.”
Lauren’s daily self-care routine is also among the most effective ways she stays on track. “My self-care is basically combining all of my hacks. From my morning routine to eating healthy, staying active and putting time aside to be alone — it’s all part of how I take care of myself on the daily,” she shared.
Lastly, Lauren said that “laughter is probably the most underrated part of my happiness,” adding, “As long as I stay lighthearted and youthful in spirit, I’m the best version of myself.”
Not only does Lauren abide by five life hacks to keep her wellness in check, but she also has a spiritual connection to the ritual of it all. “It’s all about the intention behind the routine. When I set an intention for what I’m doing, for instance, if I’m washing my face, I’ll always try to imagine myself as an old woman without wrinkles. It sounds cheesy, but to me, just envisioning myself as a healthy individual makes me feel… like a healthy individual.”
