Those early experiences gave her a maturity beyond her years. “I was always with adults. I asked a lot of questions. I was like a little adult in a child’s body.”
However, her childhood soon shifted as her parents immigrated to the United States. Anelia followed and spent her formative years there before relocating to Switzerland at 13. She negotiated, choosing to study economics and politics at the University of Warwick in the UK. Anelia’s professional journey began at the pharmaceutical giant Novartis in Switzerland. But over time, something shifted. “I started to feel a quiet disconnection,” she reflects. “There were parts of me I couldn’t fully express. My soul was yearning for more.”

And that nearly cost me my health and spirit.” It was in the wake of that burnout that she made a bold choice: to take a sabbatical, realign with her truth, and never again abandon her deeper calling.
