Everyone has been there. Set a reminder that your favorite band or sports team is coming to town, and then just like that, the presale sneaks up on you, and you find yourself looking at a “sold out” screen.

Enter Christina Ness. Ness has spent her career working in tech startups and entertainment companies. “I got into startups pretty early in my career, first working in the entertainment and tech industry for a digital agency and then with Simon Fuller (Creator of American Idol) to help capital raise and run digital strategy and partnerships for his global pop group ‘Now United,’” she says.

After that, she worked with event producers Done and Dusted to help launch their experiential events division. From there, she worked in Esports at Activision Blizzard, which had a startup culture. “When the idea of Evenigo came up, I felt like it would be fun to dive in and try building something new,” says Ness.

Evenigo aims to relieve the stress of tracking events and activities. It was born from the simple frustration: missing out on ticket presales and exclusive retail offers because of manual entry errors and a lack of streamlined access to timely information.

“It was last year this time when the Beyoncé tour went on sale. I was speaking to a friend and former colleague who expressed how frustrated he was that he missed out on the presale for his wife due to a manual error. That’s where the idea for Evenigo came from. People typically look at their calendars at least ten times per day, but there wasn’t a platform where people could opt into receiving their favorite sales, sporting events, or concerts directly on their calendar,” says Ness.

She continues, “A number of other solutions allow you to add single events to your calendars, but I wanted to create a one-stop shop for connection, discovery, and convenience with automatic calendar adds. It’s a great play for marketers, and beneficial to fans.”

The process is simple. Users sign up and create a free account, then they follow the concerts, sporting events, TV shows, and brand calendars that interest them most. They can add all events from one venue, musician, team, or network to their calendar or select specific events.

The platform also offers personalization through its Discover Feed, a dynamic space where users can explore upcoming events, purchase tickets directly through the Ticketmaster API, and find new activities that they might have missed otherwise. You can also see what events your friends are attending to make planning ahead even easier.

While entrepreneurship is never a certain path, Ness is excited to offer users an intuitive, hassle-free experience. “To me, having grit means finding the strength and discipline every day to make progress, no matter how small. Time and action add up. I’m proud to be able to offer this platform to fellow entertainment and sports lovers!”
