He has served as the chief of staff at Providence Memorial Hospital and Sierra Medical Center and as the chairman of the department of internal medicine at Sierra Medical Center. He has also been the medical director of acute dialysis at Sierra Medical Center and the medical director of transplant services for Sierra Medical Center and Las Palmas Medical Center.
