Her responsibilities include guiding clients in their personal injury journeys and building the strongest case possible for the best outcome for her clients. More on Maryam Ardalan
Ardalan began her professional journey in personal injury law as a receptionist; however, she advanced to a file clerk position within three months and, shortly after, to a role as a legal assistant to four attorneys who were handling three different areas of law at the time. She was an exceptionally efficient legal assistant, who handled all trial preparation and aided in optimum results for the firm’s clients. After some time in this role, she began hiring and training new staff and compiling manuals for the different programs the firm used. These efforts resulted in her eventually rising to the role of office manager.
As the firm and her responsibilities grew, Ardalan decided to further her education to better assist those around her. Previously, she had earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in philosophy from California State University, Northridge in 2011. Now, inspired by the attorneys she worked with, she took the LSAT and began applying to law schools. Her dream was to go to Loyola Law School because the principal of the firm was a Loyola graduate, along with most of the other attorneys. Ardalan was indeed accepted into Loyola Law School, which felt like a great honor. She graduated with a Juris Doctor and passed the California Bar Exam on her first attempt in 2015.
In 2024, Ardalan established her own firm, which has been thriving since. Her clients have expressed great satisfaction, noting that they appreciate her kindness, active listening, and straightforward approach. Her expertise and ability to quickly prioritize tasks have also aided her career.
Ardalan is widely recognized as an expert. In 2025, she was named among the Top 10 Attorneys by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys and has also been included on the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 list. She attributes her success to her mentality and the personal experiences that have driven her to create a more positive impact on the world. She places great value on being a good person and helping others.
Passions Outside of the Firm
Ardalan’s entrepreneurial spirit extends beyond her law firm. As a consultant through Ecasa Education, she helps other personal injury firms optimize their processes, procedures, and office functions while improving morale and culture. Additionally, she is active in various industry-related organizations, including the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California, National Trial Lawyers, and the American Association for Justice.
Ardalan is currently working on several projects, which include scaling and growing her firm in line with her mission and vision. She also provides consulting services to personal injury law firms and plans to expand this venture in the future. Looking further ahead, she hopes to start a nonprofit aimed at providing a support network and organizing fundraisers for women and by women, further highlighting her dedication to community impact and personal growth.
