Fall is upon us and so is Lay’s brand-new flavor—grilled cheese and tomato soup. The new fall-filled flavor is expected to hit shelves on October 21 for a limited time run, just in time for you to get your fall cardigans out and pumpkin-spice scents spreading throughout your home.

This announcement comes right around the same time Doritos announced the launch of its newest flavor, “Screamin’ Sriracha.”

Now, usually I’m not the biggest fan of Lay’s extensive and various line of flavored chips, particularly the “Cappucino” and “Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle,” but this one seems almost impossible to pass up from the potato chip purveyor.

According to Lay’s, the new combo delivers a dynamic fusion of “tomato taste and buttery cheese with underlying creamy and toasted notes…all in one bite.”

The chips will be available for around $3.49 for a 7.75 oz. bag.

Influencers Unite!

In addition to the October 21 launch, Lay’s will also be launching its “Gotta Have Lay’s” campaign, where it will be awarding five winners a day with a chance to win free Lay’s for an entire year, for an entire month.

Fans can enter the contest by uploading a photo with the new packaging design. In other words, for you social media influencers and blue-badge verified accounts, get to snappin’, as two-hundred lucky winners will end up snagging 10,000 bags of free chips by the end of the campaign.
