The Feedia Agency, a full-service business development and marketing agency founded by media technology visionary Kwasi Asare, has been producing and hosting a series of conversations guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) since 2019 called the 2050 Forums. The conversation and coalition-building platform, which began in 2019, has now convened at the Sundance Film Festival, Coachella, and SXSW, with plans being discussed for 2024 and 2025 gatherings and activations.

Feedia CEO Kwasi Asare was recently featured on Sirius/XM Radio’s Omi Bell Show regarding the platform he created to help address humanity’s greatest challenges.

2050 Forums Founder and Feedia CEO Kwasi Asare stated, “After attending Sundance for more than a decade, I can see the dramatic change in the weather in Park City, in particular, in January. This year it was unseasonably warm, which is great until you consider the global trend. In Park City where Sundance has conveyed for decades, without snow, their economy and ecological stability are at risk. The global trend of short to no winter and excruciating hot summers is just beginning. I spent last summer in Austin and it was north of 110 degrees on numerous occasions.“

Park City’s Lighthouse has become The 2050 Forum’s home base in Park City. “I love working with Lisa Coltman and her team at Park City’s Lighthouse. It’s one of my favorite venues across the world to host events or to get away from it all. Throughout the year, it is the perfect homebase for various types of activations and events. Lisa has curated an environment filled with love, empathy, creativity and joy; it’s the perfect environment to build significant relationships that can lead to a lifetime of partnerships and friendships.”

The 2050 Forums have hosted over 1000 innovators, investors, influencers, filmmakers, producers, and creators across 13 events, highlighting over 75 subject matter experts, founders, investors, creators, and artists.

The 2050 Forums have been sponsored by Culture Shift Labs, Magic Fund, Origen Vodka, Ocean Box, Lights, Camera, Diaspora, ME Ventures, Uncle Nearest, Value Culture, Isa Da Ventures etc. Additional support has been provided by Misfit, Gaia House, and World Artists United.

This robust global coalition was formed to spark dialogue and convene “Parties with a Purpose” with the goal of focusing humanity’s collective energies to rally our species to work together to fight against some of humanity’s greatest challenges.

The team at Feedia is currently planning to produce the next 2050 Forums later in 2024 and is now accepting interest from partners, sponsors, speakers, and performers.

These vital conversations about humanity’s path to 2050 will continue throughout 2024 and 2025.

Highlights from the 2050 Forums are live on Feedia’s YouTube channel.
