Dr. Williams began his medical journey with a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from Emory University, followed by a Doctor of Medicine and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical College of Georgia. He is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds medical licenses in Georgia and South Carolina. His commitment to professional development is evidenced by his affiliations with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Georgia OBGYN Society.
Dr. Williams has dedicated over four decades to providing compassionate and personalized care to women in Augusta, Georgia. Since 1997, he has been a key part of OB/GYN Partners of Augusta, formed from the merger of Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates of Augusta and Augusta GYN. His expertise in microsurgery and fertility obstetrics, along with his broad knowledge of gynecology, make him a trusted and respected physician in the community.
Moreover, Dr. Williams has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including being named Columbia County Magazine’s Best Physician and Best OBGYN and the Medical College of Georgia’s Teacher of the Year Award.
