How Adam H. Miller Built a Reputation for Relentless Advocacy

Published on October 16, 2025

Adam H. Miller is a personal injury attorney at the Miller Law Firm in Houston, Texas, and is known as The Texas Bulldog for his tenacity in fighting for his clients. Often seen driving around Houston, Texas, on his motorcycle with his Pitbull, McLovin’, in the sidecar, Miller advocates for victims navigating the intimidating process of seeking compensation.

Miller earned the community title of The Texas Bulldog for his tenacity and desire to win justice for those who can’t fight for themselves. He even takes on clients with cases against other lawyers, which many in his field do not offer.

“I have seen it all and learned over the years how to skin that cat 10 different ways,” Miller says.

Relentless, Personal Legal Representation

Miller once received advice from his grandfather. He was told that “the most selfless thing he could do is something nice for someone else.”

With 35 years of experience, Miller has a deep understanding of the Texas legal system and a track record of representing clients in the Houston area. He meets with all his clients at his law firm and never passes them off to an associate or case manager. Miller’s hands-on approach is entirely client-centered, assuring them that he is focused on their best interests and fighting for them. “I do not have cases. I have clients,” Miller emphasizes, underscoring his dedication to his clients.

Throughout his career, Miller has demonstrated that local attorneys can take on powerful entities and emerge victorious, dispelling the notion that clients must turn to impersonal larger firms for maximum compensation. He lives up to his moniker when he strides into the courtroom, exuding unwavering confidence in his ability to win cases. Miller’s courtroom tactics are often unexpected, but undeniably effective, as he employs unique methods to drive his point home to juries.

“I have a service dog that is a pitbull. He goes to court (wears a tie). I was in trial on a dog bite case, and my dog McLovin’ sat in the courtroom for 3 days without a sound, a bark, a growl, or any movement off his mat. With that, I was able to let the jury know that even the allegedly most vicious dog breed can be trained by its owner. There are no bad dogs, only bad owners. Big Verdict,” Miller shares, detailing his unique courtroom tactics that have helped him win cases.

Overcoming Challenges

Miller’s success did not come easy. There were many obstacles, but he persevered, determined to help those who needed him.

“The biggest challenge was to open my own law firm. I had no previous training running a business, but what I learned is that if you take care of your clients, then the firm will grow and thrive,” Miller adds.

The lessons Miller learned from starting his law firm paid off. In 2025, he was awarded Best of the Best of Attorneys 2025 and is in Texas’s Top 10 Personal Injury Attorneys. Previously, the National Trial Lawyers named him a member of their Top 100 Trial Lawyers in 2021.

These accolades are a testament to Miller’s unwavering commitment to aiding Houstonians during the most challenging periods of their lives and fighting for the compensation that will enable them to move forward. His dedication to his work is so profound that he has no intention of stepping away from it, ensuring that he will continue to be a reliable advocate for his clients.

“Since I do not plan to retire, my goals are simply to continue to employ Houstonians and help my neighbors with their legal problems,” Miller concludes.
