With nearly two decades of experience, Glenn Jackson is a distinguished professional in the construction industry and a charitable member of his community. Currently, Jackson is the chief executive officer of Omega Industrial Services LLC, where he has leveraged his expertise in managing complex projects and leading teams to establish the company’s strong presence in the industry. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, serving as the most senior technical expert on all projects. Additionally, he oversees the management and execution of sales and maintains relationships with clients across various industrial sectors.
About Jackson
Jackson earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Northwestern State University in 2006. This academic achievement provided him with a strong foundation in mathematics, which has aided him in managing the complex financial aspects of large-scale projects throughout his career.
Early in his career, Jackson worked in global project controls at Chicago Bridge & Iron Company from 2008 to 2011, followed by a tenure as a cost analyst at Technip from 2011 to 2013. He was also a senior project controls analyst at Plains All American from 2013 to 2014 and at Amec Foster Wheeler from 2014 to 2017. Further developing his skills in project estimation, he served as a project controller at Heurtey Petrochem Solutions from 2017 to 2019 before advancing to estimator for the company from 2019 to 2021.
Between 2021 and 2023, Jackson worked as a procurement management and project controls analyst at Venture Global LNG. He was responsible for engineering and procurement project controls, analysis, and procurement execution, with his leadership ensuring the continued progress of these ventures after his departure. He then focused more on the procurement and subcontracting execution by assuming the role of manager of procurement and subcontract execution for the company for a year. In this capacity, he played a key role in managing the procurement and subcontracting efforts for more than $20 billion in construction.
The career advancement Jackson experienced at Venture Global LNG and the successes that followed are among his most notable career highlights. He acknowledges that he has gotten to where he is with significant support from his wife, close personal friends, and family. He cites the strong professional network he has built as another key factor in his success.
Outside of the Profession
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Jackson is an avid baseball card collector and is actively involved in various civic-minded organizations. He is a member of the Grand Lodge of Texas, which contributes annually to charitable causes such as scholarships, veterans’ support initiatives, and organizations addressing medical and general community needs.
As he looks to the future, Jackson envisions leading one of the best and largest emerging construction and fabrication companies in the industry. Having already established a strong reputation, he aims to expand the company nationally and become a trusted leader recognized for reliably executing complex projects.
