A Career Shaped by Passion and Education

Dr. Rosales’s passion for health care and research has fueled his career. “Everything changes every day. Try to learn as much as possible from all different areas,” he says. “I’ve always been interested in the field of medicine. I never envisioned doing anything else,” Dr. Rosales shares. His mother, who aspired to become a doctor herself, influenced his career path. Upon arriving in the United States, he saw an opportunity to pursue his passion for clinical research, which ultimately led him to focus on oncology and hematology.

Dr. Rosales works alongside medical monitors, data managers, clinical researchers and laboratory vendors, all while resolving any conflicts that arise between stakeholders. His expertise in managing complex trials ensures that treatments reach the right patients at the right time.

A Pivotal Career Moment

One of Dr. Rosales’ standout moments came while working with the Children’s Oncology Group and Nicklaus Children’s Health System. It was in these roles that his passion for improving the lives of children and his passion for advancing cancer treatments met: “Pediatric oncology is my true calling.”

Looking Ahead: Making a Mark in Cardiology
