Adam Zentner‘s career in the legal profession is a departure from the traditional path. His journey, from criminal prosecution to running his law firm, exemplifies his ability to navigate the complex legal and entrepreneurial landscape.
Zentner has seized opportunities to address justice, trust, and advocacy issues along the way. His life and career have been recognized by the Marquis Who’s Who, and he has accumulated a wealth of lessons and experiences.
All According to Plan: Serving as a State Prosecutor
Having spent over a decade in the courtroom serving as a state prosecutor, Zentner honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of law. He handled all kinds of dramatic criminal cases, helping to prosecute crimes like homicide, human trafficking, and public corruption.
As an assistant attorney general, Zentner helped mentor new prosecutors who would do the same important work and worked on legislation to tighten penalties against offenders who made a habit of endangering law officers.
For Zentner, pursuing justice was not just a job but a calling. He often encountered victims who struggled to make their voices heard in the legal system, and he made it his mission to advocate for them. These growing passions would eventually lead him in a new direction.
Time for a New Plan: Founding Zentner Law PA
Zentner hadn’t envisioned the transition from prosecutor to entrepreneur early on. Still, he wanted to offer broader services and develop a deeper relationship with those he served. In his private practice, he pursued a newfound passion for criminal defense but also found himself interested in services like estate planning.
Running his law firm, Zentner Law PA, came with new challenges, but providing new services, like helping clients navigate the complexities of life transitions, was worth it.
Zentner Law P.A. is now a well-established and growing firm. As of 2024, it had handled nearly $80 million in client assets. He remains focused on justice, advocacy, and discretion, keeping the needs of his clients at the center of every case and service. Zentner’s work at the firm has earned him a place among the top 100 national trial lawyers and the top 10 criminal defense attorneys by MyLegalWin. More importantly, he’s continued to grow as a leader and resource to his clients and peers throughout the legal profession.
Focusing on What’s Important for His Clients
Zentner continues to gain more experience and knowledge and has an expanding record of success in criminal law and estate planning. His career path might have been nontraditional, but it’s been driven by a commitment to helping people feel secure and understood at every point of their various legal processes. To him, building trust and respect is the heart of effective advocacy.
“I’m motivated by my desire to advocate for people,” says Zentner, “That is why I became a lawyer.” His success isn’t measured in accolades or a mounting record of client assets secured but in his clients’ and peers’ assurance and confidence.
