As more and more creators leverage social media for audience growth, faceless videos — featuring attention-grabbing visuals and narratives without revealing the creator’s identity — are rapidly gaining traction. This innovative format provides a creative outlet for influencers to engage with their followers, generate revenue, and grow an audience.
Enter Faceless, the platform automating the process of faceless content creation. With this platform, co-founder Jacob Seeger is redefining how anyone can become a content creator through faceless channels.
Jacob’s path to tech entrepreneurship was unconventional. Unlike many founders with formal technical backgrounds, Jacob started his career in the music industry. His initial success as a music artist, accumulating over a million streams, led him to start the music marketing agency Domno. This career shift became a foundation-building phase, where Jacob sharpened his abilities to understand audiences, leverage digital platforms, and run a successful business.
Soon after, Jacob embarked on a two-year quest to build various SaaS products to provide value to as many people as possible through software, only to face repeated setbacks. Yet, each failed tool provided important lessons that pushed him closer to his breakthrough.
A close friend’s college connection led Jacob to Alex, his co-founder. Jacob and Alex shared a vision: automating faceless content creation for platforms like TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Their idea was ambitious, creating an automated tool that writes, edits, and posts videos on autopilot. Despite lacking a formal tech education, Jacob immersed himself in learning and building, leveraging no-code resources and self-taught programming skills to bring their vision to life as the app’s sole developer.
“Faceless isn’t just about creating videos, it handles posting them too,” says Jacob. “Our platform makes it as easy as possible to generate and share content, transforming the game for anyone wanting to build an online presence without the heavy lifting.”
The journey to achieving this feat wasn’t without obstacles. After a strategic marketing move involving a successful Twitter creator resulted in a surge of interest and revenue, the launch of Faceless in late September faced technical glitches caused by the influx of users. The team quickly responded, fixing issues and refining their approach.
This adaptability and learning-by-doing approach have been central to Faceless’s success, allowing the platform to grow to over 275,000 sign-ups and maintain thousands of active users and allowing Jacob and Alex to create a seven-figure business.
For budding entrepreneurs, Jacob offers this advice:
- Build Lean and Validate Early: Start with a minimum viable product and test its potential before scaling. Jacob’s iterative approach with Faceless illustrates the importance of rapid prototyping and market validation.
 - Embrace Failure and Adapt: Failure is an inevitable part of the entrepreneurial journey. Jacob’s ability to pivot and learn from setbacks was crucial in shaping Faceless’s success.
 - Automate and Innovate: Look for opportunities to automate and streamline processes. Jacob’s focus on automating content creation was a key factor in the innovation of Faceless.
 - Listen to Your Users: Ensure that user satisfaction is a priority. The platform’s quick response to early issues and its focus on user experience exemplifies the importance of customer-centric development.
 - Be an engineer, not a developer: Being a technical founder does not require knowing everything about Python or being an expert at web development. It means knowing the RIGHT tools to get the desired output, that’s it. Even if you are utilizing no-code tools or third-party applications to get the result, that may just be the cleanest and best solution to your problem. And congrats, you’re still a technical founder!

With Faceless, Jacob Seeger continues to push boundaries with plans for new features and expanding market reach. As Faceless aims to hit new financial milestones and explore additional innovations, Jacob’s journey remains a powerful example of how — with resilience and inventiveness — founders can build a million-dollar business.
