Columbus Crew SC: 0 – 1 D.C. United

After dominating the second half, the Crew SC were unable to find the back of the net.

“I don’t know that I’ve been part of a game in all my years of coaching where I’ve been coaching a game and we’ve had as much sustained pressure on a team and not gotten a goal; we dominated the team, especially in the second half.” —Crew SC Head Coach, Caleb Porter

But for Porter, the Crew does not need to be top of the table 9 games, rather, “we need to be the team we need to be at the end of the year.”
