Tom Norwood is a veteran entrepreneur with a range of successful businesses in multiple industries including blockchain, hospitality, and education. On this episode of the Grit Daily Startup, Tom talked about how he started developing software at age 8 on a Microbee (with just 32KB of RAM!) He got into Bitcoin in 2012 and released his first blockchain application in 2018.
In 2021 he launched Loop, which started as a DEX but has now expanded into an ecosystem of products including an NFT marketplace and launchpad, a mobile app, a tokenized community, and a learning platform for blockchain newbies. His goal is to take crypto mainstream and make it user-friendly for the masses.
