Six Fitness Podcasts That Do More Than Just Talk About Fitness

Finding a good podcast to listen to is one of the many pleasures I enjoy in life. Whether it’s about food, health and wellness or motivation, I celebrate with a little victory because listening to podcasts is my favorite past time. It doesn’t matter what I’m doing, I will always have a podcast in the background.

While in quarantine, I’ve been coming up on a lot of podcasts lately that I didn’t think that I would be listening to, but here I am. Since being in quarantine, I’ve been into fitness a lot more than I usually am. I’ve been doing my research and trying to better my health. With this process, I decided to check out some fitness podcasts that are popular and others that seem interesting. Here are six podcasts that I’ve been listening to that think you should take a listen to as well.

Body Positive Health and Fitness 

This is one of the top podcasts that I listen to because, for a lot of people, working out and being fit can be hard on themselves when it comes to getting results. This podcast asks the question of what it means to be body-positive and how we can use it with health and fitness.

Fit and Fearless 

There’s a lot that comes with getting fit and getting yourself together health-wise. It’s not always about fitness and the best workout plan for you, and that’s what I like about this podcast is not only does it talk about fitness but other things that come along with it as well.

Mental Fitness Training 

This one is a huge one for me because fitness is about the body but all types of the body, including your mind and soul as well. Mental Fitness Training Podcast is one of my got to podcasts because it helps you gain control over how you feel and works with your mind.

Ambitious + Fit 

Who doesn’t love a little women empowerment here and there? That’s what I love about this podcast. If you have a goal and want to reach your full potential while doing it, then this is the podcast for you. Not only does she discuss all things fitness but also relationships, mindsets, and your career.

Fit Black Queens

Absolutely in love with this podcast. This fitness podcast shows the perspective of health and fitness from a Black woman. Whether it be health hacks, fitness hacks, or a workout, you get that birds-eye view from a Black woman, and I love that.

Faith, Fitness and Self Discovery

 A Black-owned podcast that is here to “walk you through your personal journey to wellness.” This podcast here is to give the word of fitness along with faith and also discovering yourself.
