Welcome back to Show and Tell, where I unbox sweet tech for every area of your life. We live in a multi-tasking world where we like to automate menial chores, especially vacuuming. Smart robots have become commonplace, but innovators are always improving technology. Enter the Proscenic M7 Pro LDS Robot Vacuum Cleaner. Take every cool thing about a robot vacuum cleaner and add more because this device has more features than you can imagine. Let’s see if this vacuum cleaner has what it takes to be your ideal housemaid.
Three sophisticated smart systems
The main tech features of this vacuum cleaner are SLAM, IPNAS 3.0, and LDS 360. Let’s unpack those. The vacuum knows where it is because of the LDS 360 system. It has 24 sensors built into the top dome, so it has a cohesive view of the location of stairs, carpet, hardwood, and more obstacles. With these sensors, the robot also has anti-collision and anti-falling capability. Next, SLAM is actually a technology used in augmented reality. This system allows the robot to read its environment constantly and know where it is in relation to any object or room. How does it “remember” all this information? Its great memory is thanks to the IPNAS 3.0 system. The robot can build a map of your home, remember every room and floor, and then improve itself. Unlike most of us, this device learns after its first mistake.
The list of features goes on
There’s much more to this robot than its smart capabilities. It has a suction power of 2,700 Pascals, and it goes into Vboost mode when it senses carpet. And just when you think there’s nothing left: It also can function as a mop. Check out the video to see the rest of the Proscenic M7’s full capabilities, as there are many, many more. (Think voice commands, auto-charging, and an easy-to-navigate app!)
I will be back soon to unbox more tech, but until then, check out previous videos here.
