About The Launch

Moschino x The Sims Capsule Collection inspired by the popular life simulation  franchise, will launch this Saturday at the Moschino x The Sims Desert Party.

Moschino and Maxis™, a studio of Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:EA) announced that Jeremy Scott will host his annual Palm Springs Desert Party with The Sims™ to celebrate the launch. Inspired by the popular life simulation video game of the early 2000s, a whole collection of ready-to-wear items and accessories including Moschino items with pixelated designs and a limited run of eight Moschino x The Sims items will be available IRL for purchase.

Finally, you can now dress like a Sim with this homage to the game that once consumed so much of our early online lives.

The Collection

The collection will feature iconic motifs from The Sims reimagined as Moschino Couture pieces such as a Plumbob bathing suit, a Freezer Bunny cell phone cover and a Uni-Lama T-shirt. Each of these pieces represent the freedom of self-expression and creativity of both brands. Another item, a Freezer Bunny hoodie, will also be released after the event within all of The Sims current titles, including The Sims 4, The Sims Mobile and The Sims FreePlay.

On The Collaboration

“I love the idea of being able to imagine, design and bring to life a world of individual personas with The Sims universe,” said Jeremy Scott, Creative Director of Moschino.

“That concept emulates what I get to do for each collection at Moschino as I create a fantasy universe of spectacular storylines and characters.”

About Moschino

Italian luxury brand, Moschino was founded in 1983 and rose to the forefront of the international fashion scene through ironic, tongue-in-cheek designs. In 2013, Jeremy Scott was appointed Creative Director and the brand hit a new high with his unexpected original designs infused Scott’s unique vision and sartorial wit. Moschino has since catapulted itself into the spotlight with its logoed designs, slogan T-shirts and pop-culture favorite phone cases.

The Moschino x The Sims collection will be available at Moschino boutiques worldwide, as well as on the brand’s e-commerce platform, from April 13.
