Festival lineups are falling out of the sky. America’s biggest festival, Coachella, dropped its lineup last week. If that one didn’t get you excited, not to worry, there are plenty more to choose from now.
Get Ready for Bottlerock
Yesterday, the lineup dropped for Napa Valley’s Bottlerock Festival. Headliners include the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews Band, and Stevie Nicks. Other performers include Khalid, Zedd, and Janelle Monáe.
With the slogan “the first taste of summer’, Bottlerock markets itself as exactly what you would expect from Napa Valley. Laidback vibes, good music accompanied by great food, wine, and beer. It’s undoubtedly a smaller scale festival, but with a fantastic lineup and a great atmosphere, it’s bound to be a good show.
Tickets go on sale today, January 7th, and the show takes place Memorial Day weekend, May 22-24, 2020.
Bonnaroo Let’s Go
This morning Bonnaroo, a music festival in Manchester, Tennessee released its lineup. Headlining this year’s show are Tool, Lizzo, and Tame Impala. Other performers include Run the Jewels, Flume, and Lana Del Rey.
Bonnaroo is again a smaller festival, but has regained its popularity in the last couple of years. It’s eclectic, with performers ranging all over the map in terms of genre and style. There’s a little something for everyone at Bonnaroo, and with Lizzo headlining, what could go wrong?
Tickets go on sale on January 9th and the festival takes place on June 11-14th, 2020.
Both these festivals have something in common. Miley Cyrus will perform both festivals, in what’s shaping up to be a busy summer for her. Remarkably, both festivals will also include a female headliner. In the festival space, female headliners are often difficult to come by, so major props to Bonnaroo and Bottlerock for including Lizzo and Stevie Nicks, respectively.
It’s shaping up to be a great festival season with lineups like these.
