Life Is Beautiful Announces Killer 2019 Lineup

Published on April 23, 2019

Now that Coachella is over it’s time to plan the rest of your summer festivals out. With EDC, Governor’s Ball, and Bonnaroo only a couple of weeks away, it’s never too late to add one more to finish your summer off strong. Luckily, Life is Beautiful is the perfect way to do that. The festival takes over the Downtown Las Vegas Art’s District at the end of each September, and offers a unique festival experience unlike any other. The festival dropped a killer lineup on Tuesday, solidifying it as a can’t-miss event for the 2019 festival season.

The Experience

Life is Beautiful is a new festival. That is, in the sense that it was started just a couple of years ago. The first annual festival took place in 2013 in Downtown Las Vegas, a rapidly changing arts district of the city that’s been breathing new life into Vegas’s local culture. While the strip is home to world-class partying of a certain kind, the downtown district has taken the city from a wild weekend vacation stop to a must-see experience that rivals only to other nightlife and art-centric cities like Miami.

Today, the Downtown arts district bleeds through areas of the city that pay homage to its rich history as a city of entertainment. Colorful neon lights up the desert sky as art installments littered throughout the city’s wide blocks add a splash of excitement to a newly gentrified area. Gentrified in a good sense, that is. As the newly formed arts district has helped clean up a part of the city that was quickly deteriorating over time.

The Music

Over the last few years Life is Beautiful has curated a lineup that rivals only to the likes of big league events like Coachella, Governor’s Ball and Bonnaroo. The event spans across all genres, offering a taste of the hottest artists of the year. Basically, if you missed a festival event throughout the season you’ll get one last chance to catch it at Life is Beautiful.

This year’s Life is Beautiful lineup includes massive acts like Billie Eilish, Post Malone, Chance The Rapper, Die Antwoord, and The Black Keys. Not only are the big-hitters making an appearance, but the festival is also home to a lot of up and coming artists or big artists within a certain niche. Acts like Janelle Monae, Louis The Child, Phantogram, and Space Jesus are also set to grace the multiple stages strewn throughout the blocks of Downtown Las Vegas.

The Deets

The 2019 Life is Beautiful Festival will take place over the weekend of September 20-22, 2019. It’s just about the last festival to happen over the festival season, making it a great way to end the summer on a high note. Tickets to this year’s festival will go on sale later this week, on April 25. Aside from music, the festival is a major urban arts hub for the art world. Things like live graffiti, installments from artists around the world, and popular local restaurants offer up their best dishes during the festival’s three day span.
