If you have ever logged onto Netflix hoping to watch something you thought was on the streaming platform only to find out that it’s been removed, you’ll benefit from knowing ahead of time which programs are exiting the platform and when. The arrival of fall often means change. Things rings true especially for Netflix, which changes its programming seasonally to accommodate what people are more or less likely to watch.
Movies like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which stars Johnny Depp, as well as Casper, Gremlins, and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series are among the children’s movies leaving the platform. Other popular films like Frances Ha—Greta Gerwig’s (Lady Bird) breakout role and Pineapple Express—Seth Rogen’s breakout role, are among some of the others leaving Netflix in October of this year. Not to worry, though, Original favorites like The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and The Haunting of Hill House are still available to re-watch this spooky season.
Below you’ll find a list of everything leaving Netflix in October 2019, but where some things leave, others arrive. For a list of everything coming to Netflix next month check out this list right here.
