Kylie Jenner has made a fortune off of her makeup empire, known for its lip kits. The makeup mogul is also known for the big changes she’s made to her face since her childhood. Now, in a bold move, Kylie Jenner removed all her lip fillers.
Jenner posted stunning new photos on Instagram this week, and some die-hard fans were able to notice that she looks different. Jenner responded to some of the comments, and soon, the internet was buzzing that Kylie Jenner removed all her lip fillers.
On an episode of her spin-off show, The Life Of Kylie, Jenner once admitted:
“I had really small lips, and it was, like, one of my first kisses, and a guy was like, ‘I didn’t think you’d be a good kisser because you have such small lips.’ I took that really hard.”
“Just when a guy you like says that… I don’t know, it just really affected me. I didn’t feel desirable or pretty.”
Like most 15-year-olds, Jenner suffered through a bout of insecurity. Unlike most 15-year-olds, she was able to get great advice and makeup done by the family’s makeup artist, who, at the time taught Kylie how to properly overline her lips.
Jenner began to get lip fillers at age 16, becoming known for her huge pout.
“I have temporary lip fillers. It’s just an insecurity of mine and it’s what I wanted to do.”
“I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything, so I might have tiptoed around the truth, but I didn’t lie.”
“When you first get them done, you’re like, ‘Oh, it could be a little bit bigger on that side.’ I’d go back and be like, ‘They went down’ and think they could be bigger. But I went too far. It was very painful.”
Fans are thrilled with the 20-year-old’s decision. Filler or not, the new mom will continue to have one of the most successful makeup brands out there. Kylie Cosmetics is worth around $420 million.
