Kesha is Releasing a Beauty Line

Published on November 7, 2019

Move over Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson because another big makeup launch is hitting the beauty scene. Grammy-nominated singer Kesha is releasing her very own beauty collection called Kesha Rose Beauty.

This news comes at an exciting time for Kesha fans. Less than one month ago, the singer announced her new album “High Road” would be dropping in January.

“Animals!!!! I’m so excited to announce that my album ‘High Road’ is coming,” Kesha wrote on Instagram. “I feel like this time around I reconnected to the unrestrained joy and wildness that’s always been a part of me, and in this process I have had the most fun I’ve ever had making a record. I hope you love it as much as I loved making it, and know I always have y’all in mind.”

However, it seems fans won’t have to wait that long before getting their hands on a new Kesha product.

She posted a video today on her Instagram where she announced the exciting launch of her upcoming makeup line. She captioned the post: “!!!! SO EXCITED !!!! Kesha rose makeup ready for the world to see finally after years in the making !!!!! @kesharosebeauty”

“I think beauty is all about what’s inside your soul. I’m just an aura in a skin suit, but I do like to decorate it,” Kesha said in her Instagram video. “That’s what this makeup is about. Perfect is not real and normal is boring. When you get my makeup, I just want you to play and have fun.”

The Beauty Products

Kesha told Refinery29 that the palette was mainly for fun. It’s filled with bright, bold colors that remain true to the singer’s personality.

“The name of the palette is FTW, which can mean whatever you want it to mean: F*** the world, find the whales — whatever you want,” Kesha said.

Her new beauty line will consist of five products, including an eyeshadow palette, liner pens and a lipstick and gloss duo. The palette has 12 eyeshadows and will be $36. The liner pens are called Whatever Whatever [Wands], and the songstress intends for people to use them all over their bodies. She told Refinery29 that you can use them to draw fake tattoos or use them as a normal liquid liner. Those will be $28.

Both of the lip products will be unique as well. The lipstick will be bright red- as shown in the video, and the gloss will be color-changing. The lip due will cost $26. You will also be able to purchase either a $90 bundle or a $120 bundle. The cheaper one will include every product, and the more expensive one will include the same thing, as well as a note from Kesha and a limited-edition embossed box.
