SendSquared is a tech startup which provides a marketing communication technology platform for the hospitality industry, especially hotels and resorts that need to create efficient management structures.

In 2018, SendSquared was founded and is headquartered in the Twin Cities. Recently, startup SendSquared raised $1 million in a seed round led by Cobalt Capital Partners, which is a prominent private equity firm based in Minneapolis.

This investment from Cobalt Capital Partners will allow SendSquared to accelerate its staff expansion, focus on advanced product development and maintain strategic partnerships with leading hospitality companies.

Founder of Cobalt Capital Partners, Judy Vijums, expressed confidence in the growth potential and success of SendSquared when deciding to invest in the company.

SendSquared is a marketing platform designed to assist hotels and resorts in maintaining control of occupancy and pricing. At the same time, the platform also helps to improve the customer experience.

The company’s technology will be developed to help companies manage vacation rentals as well as resorts through the use of email, text, booking or even WiFi to promote its communication and marketing strategies.

In addition, SendSquared’s technology features will also be improved on and integrated with other hotel platforms. The company’s customers are provided with a full-featured tool that leverages customer data through the same communication infrastructure that Online Travel Agents use.

Through various channels, it builds real-time interaction between hotel representatives and guests to optimize the customer experience.

SendSquared Founder and CEO Nicolas Wegener affirmed that thanks to the investment, SendSquared will be able to shoot for its next level of development.

The startup also supports the integration of communication methods, enabling the hotel industry to do marketing via email, Voice, SMS or CRM, and other common communication platforms

Hotels and resorts can establish relationships with customers and achieve direct booking efficiency, which benefits both SendSquared, and its more than 100 partner companies.
