The older I get, the more I watch what I eat in a day, week, or month. It’s not in an obsessive way—no, not at all—but cautiously I guess to make sure I know what I’m putting in my body and what doesn’t need to be in my body. It might seem tedious to others, but I feel like doing this ahead of time, and when you’re younger, it can help with problems once you get older. At least that’s my opinion.
Many foods go into our bodies daily, of course, we know that some are good and some are bad. When it comes to our body, we need to fuel up with a certain amount of nutrients that your body needs like protein.
According to Google, “protein is one of the building blocks of body tissue and can also serve as a fuel source.” Just like when your car is low, you stock up on gas to make sure it’s ready to go. That’s how our bodies work.

Brussels sprouts benefit your health in more ways than you know. They are high in nutrients, rich in antioxidants, high in fiber, and rich in vitamin K. A lot of people don’t like brussels sprouts, but honestly, I think it depends on how you season and cook them.

Broccoli is not only packed with plenty of protein, but also it contains all of the amino acids as well. It’s a a rich source of vitamin C and K which are essential to maintaining good health. Do as your parents say and eat your broccoli—your parents were right about this one.
