Actress Heather Locklear has been suffering from a serious mental breakdown – culminating in a second arrest on Sunday night. Locklear was released from involuntary psychiatric hold for another incident, just a few days ago.
Officers arrived at Locklear’s estate around 6 pm, and then again at 11 pm on Sunday night after a domestic disturbance call. The first time 911 arrived, they determined that there was no disturbance. They were called back at 11 pm and promptly arrested Locklear after she began to physically and verbally assault the responding officers.

It was when responding to the second call that deputies made contact with Locklear, who allegedly attacked an officer when he tried to separate her from other parties at the residence.
The dispatcher can be heard telling officers that a woman was cursing in the background while a man stated ‘get the police here now’ during that second call.
‘There was a physical earlier with female. There are no weapons inside the residence. No one else is there,’ says the dispatcher.
Locklear ‘battered that officer by kicking him’ according to a fellow member of the force, at which point she was arrested.
That same officer described Locklear as ‘extremely intoxicated and uncooperative,’ noting that while being checked at the scene she also kicked one of the EMS personnel examining her.
The 56-year-old actress was originally arrested in February of 2018, when she was violent towards authorities that were responding to a domestic violence call. Locklear’s boyfriend called the police when she began to get physical with him. She then engaged the officers.
The star pled ‘not guilty’ to all charges back in April. Despite four domestic violence complaints, Locklear was not charged. 
Since then, Locklear was arrested early this June on battery charges once again. This time, it was her parents. The police had been called when Locklear, suffering a breakdown of sorts, was threatening to shoot herself because she thought her boyfriend was cheating on her. When her family tried to get involved, they suffered physical blows.
“[Her father] tried to help her, but she, in turn, choked her mom and hit her dad,” a source told Radar Online about the incident.
In addition, Locklear’s boyfriend stated to police that her 20-year-old daughter, Ava, had to be sent out of the house for her own safety.
After that incident, authorities sent Locklear off for psychiatric help.
“She was determined to be a threat to herself and others,” a law-enforcement source told Radar. “Even though she wasn’t placed under arrest, Heather was handcuffed while on the gurney being transported to the hospital.”
Law enforcement sources confirm that Locklear was booked at 2 am, and is currently being held on $20,000 bail. Locklear is due in court on Tuesday to answer her charges.
