‘Game of Thrones’ Episode 4 Video Leak Reveals Major Death

Published on May 5, 2019

DISCLAIMER: There are NO SPOILERS pertaining to the contents of the leak in this Game of Thrones article. You’re safe.

It looks as if the leaks have been pre-planned to follow chronologically as each episode of the final season of Game of Thrones is set to premiere.

Today, the Twitter-verse is exploding again after Thrones Episode 4 is now in uncharted waters, as an approximately one-minute video revealing a major character’s death, has been circulating across the internet.

With only three episodes left in Thrones’ final season, there has been no confirmation on whether this video circulating is from tonight’s episode or from the remaining episodes. Either way, this character death (allegedly) has a major impact on the future of the Seven Kingdoms.

Leak #1—Episode 1, DirectTV Now (4 Hours Ahead)

The first episode of the eighth and final season was released on DirecTVNow just four hours ahead before it was supposed to air for the world on HBO.

Leak #2—Episode 2, Amazon Prime Video (2 Hours Ahead)

The second episode of Thrones was accidentally released via Amazon Prime Video in Germany just hours ahead of its worldwide debut. While immediately taken down, the video had already circulated the torrent networks and dark web.

Leak #3—Episode 3, Twitter Images

If you recall, last week ahead of Episode 3’s Battle for Winterfell, leaked still images foretold what would happen in the episode, with respect to the Night King. The battle itself, taking 55 days to shoot, along with a massive production crew, which included over 750 people, comprising of 600 crew members, 500 extras, 70 horses, and 65 stuntmen, seemed to have rubbed many fans the wrong way with last week’s rants and bitching by fans as to the lighting of the episode.

Get over it. It’s the Game of Thrones style, and if you don’t believe that, you clearly haven’t been paying attention for the past seven years to the production and design of each and every episode. It’s meant to be dark and realistic…if the characters can’t see their own fates, why the hell should fans?

As for the weather, winter has come and gone (to our knowledge), and as most fans already know, the Night King has fallen. Or has he? Remember, Bran has been marked by the Night King, and there was never any mention that when the Night King fell, Bran lost his connection with the King of the dead.

Online piracy has always plagued HBO with respect to Game of Thrones, but has rarely affected its ratings. Still, with each leak, comes an even greater risk that fans are presented with heartbreaking truths meant to be shared with the entire realm of Thrones fans together, each Sunday night, for the series’ final three weeks.

If you are a Thrones fan and have any honor, you will do the right thing by not being a complete and utter asshole and sharing these images and leaks to the rest of us.

Tonight’s episode airs at 9 PM ET on HBO. Make sure you have your box of tissues and alcohol nearby…it’s going to be an emotional one for us all.
