Electric Zoo music festival has clawed its way back into the scene. This year, they wasted no time in revealing their newest theme, “Supernatural.” There is a high chance you will be seeing your favorite mythological creatures at Randall’s Island, NY. This 2020, the vibrant jungle invites you to open your eyes to the unknown and unpredictable.
The Perks Of The Supernatural.
With the announcement, Electric Zoo also re-introduced EDM fans to one of the most coveted aspects of the festival: Early Bird Special. After registering for the limited pre-sale program, goers are guaranteed amazing prices and skipping the line. As well first access to afterparties with discounts. That includes locker and ferry shuttle services. Fans are however warned that Electric Zoo is in fact a rain or shine event, with the added superstition that the third day of the festival is cursed. With that being said, there are no refunds.
Event Details.
Electric Zoo is New York City’s premiere electronic music festival. Created in 2009, it takes place in Randall’s Island Park each Labor Day Weekend. The EDM-fueled function showcases a wide range of the spectrum of electronic music’s various sub-genres. With over 150,000 fans coming together from all around the world, Electric Zoo is their opportunity to engaging in the basics of PLUR, a set of principles unique to the rave culture. It stands for Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect.
Since technology has made its mark in the consumer world, I believe this is the best time to inform you that EZoo is a cashless event. Food, beverage, and all merchandises must be purchased using the festival wristband. When receiving said wristband, it is in your best interest to activate it through the app’s Top-Up system. That is if you want to jump into the dancefloor as soon as you enter the island. And don’y worry, you will be getting your own map as soon as you arrive to make sure you find the desireable stages to see your favorite artists.
Sadly, No Lineup…
Unfortunately, The Electric Zoo 2020 Lineup has not been known to the public just yet. However, based by past patterns, fans should hear about the artists performing around May. Not that it is a problem, since last year EZoo’s Evolved theme feature the likes of Eric Prydz, Diplo, Kaskade, Above & Beyond, Zedd, Afrojack, Seven Lions, and Dog Blood.
All of these talented people got together to bring an audience of more than 100,000 attendees. So you can believe that the headliners of this year will not dissapoint us. The hardest decision you can make is choosing which ones to see, since all djs are divided into the festival’s four stages: All My Friends, Riverside, Hilltop Arena, and The Main Stage. Nevertheless, it is meant to be sensational. And since even the artists themselves are also from around the world, it only makes sense for the Zoo to be at the center of a global partnership.
A Major New Festival.
Just as Electric Zoo has revealed its theme for the year, there are more projects up ahead. Its promoter, Made Event, has joined forces with the Dutch enterprise known as ID&T (best known for founding the oldest electronic Dutch music festival, Mysteryland). Together they had announce their intentions with globalizing some of the most well-renowned electronic festivals in the world. That, of course, includes Electric Zoo.
Celebrate Safe.
If you are as worried about the party scene as I was back in 2016, I can assure you that EZoo looks after their attendees. They understand the purpose of the festival as one that promotes a safe environment throughout all three days. That’s why Peer Safety Ambassadors can be found all around. You will able to tell them apart from the crowd thanks to the Celebrate Safe logo on their shirts. In addition, the event also has help centers at their disposal. With water and electrolytes, the staff makes sure to assist yoh medically if you or a friend are in need of medical help.
Without any further ado, if you are ready, step right up and order your limited pre-sale tickets now. This year it will take place from September 4th to the 6th.
