Eco-Friendly Drinks Just In Time for Earth Day

Published on April 22, 2020

Earth Day is a day that is marked on our calendars and celebrated around the world to demonstrate support for environmental protection. In other words, it’s where people come together to raise awareness about things like pollution, sustainability, and different ways that we can keep our home happy and healthy. Today’s Earth Day will mark the 50th anniversary since the first celebration that started in 1970.

Supporting Earth Day

Since that first Earth Day back in 1970, there are lots of things we have seen change when it comes to helping and keeping our environment clean. Many new factors play a significant role, whether it’s 365 days a year or on just on Earth Day. We have many organizations like the Earth Day Network, Trees For the Future, and Oceania. Also, many schools and universities have clubs dedicated to keeping the environment clean.

Throughout the years, the growth, support, and people learning about Earth Day and how they can help have increased. According to the Earth Day Network, one billion individuals mobilized for the future of the planet, and there are 75k + partners working to drive positive action.

Eco-Friendly Options

With growth and more knowledge about the subject, the topic of food has also brought itself into the mix. Food made its way into the world of environmentalism with trends of organic foods and different options that cater to veganism and vegetarianism. Back then, none of these resources were available to the public — this shows how far we have come since 1970. With this expansion, it has also made its way to the drinking world.

There are many drinks out there that are just as good as other alcoholic beverages but eco-friendly and probably better for you too. There is no celebration without a few drinks here and there, so why don’t we celebrate Earth Day in the most helpful way possible by enjoying a sweet eco-friendly drink. Since we are all stuck at home these days, go outside, sit in our backyard or by the pool in that comfortable chair and have ourselves an eco-friendly drink.

Here are some options that can get you in the mood to just go outside and be one with nature and make you feel relaxed on this day where we celebrate the earth and all its beauty.
