e-Commerce and Logistics SaaS Company zip24 Finds $1.2 million in Pre-Series Fundraising

Software as a Service (SaaS) startup zip24 recently raised US$1.2 million in a pre-series round of fundraising.

The pre-series fundraising was led by London-based Sturgeon Capital, along with investors from the UK and Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The Hayaat Group, Teqvisory and Robert Kay participated.

This fresh funding will be used to develop the technology team, products, sales, and marketing support for zip24, which is based in Dubai.

Sturgeon Capital is a London-based investment firm that works to help develop leading technology businesses in emerging markets.

With the goal of becoming a leading logistics technology provider for customers in the near future, zip24 has been working with e-commerce merchants, retailers, logistics providers, FMCG companies, restaurants and start-up operators.

zip24 is a SaaS start-up that provides operations management software for growing e-commerce brands. It plans to ramp up operations by deploying direct sales and support staff in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates and expand to the UK by the end of this year.

The company helps forecast orders and logistics, control and manage retail deliveries, warehousing and order shipping through a Cloud-based Delivery Management Software – Shipoxservices.com and Warehouse Management Software – Storfox.com.

The company was founded by Muzaffar Karabaev and Asif Keshodia, former senior executives of Souq.com and Amazon MENA. According to CEO Muzaffar Karabaev, over the past 24 months the company has helped its customers complete and deliver millions of orders.

zip24 provides users with a complete delivery management software (DMS) solution from creation to delivery of the orders.

Storfox is a cloud-based fulfillment tool that provides solutions for e-commerce companies related to logistics, warehouse management and process fulfillment.

Shipox offers unique features such as a driver app, real-time tracking of delivery personnel and their vehicles. Moreover, Shipox provides easy drop-out functions from e-commerce websites, supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants.

Also, it can provide plug-ins and integration tools that connect different e-commerce operators.
