The Party in Miami You Can’t Miss: Coyo Taco 5 Year Anniversary

Published on January 3, 2020

On Thursday, January 9th, Coyo Taco, a mainstay in Miami’s Art District, will be celebrating the five year anniversary of their inaugural location. Since launching in the Wynwood neighborhood, Coyo has expanded to seven locations globally.

The restaurant has made a name for itself through the high-quality, authentic dishes they offer, as well as the parties hosted in their backroom lounge. Miamians have spent many nights either indulging in some pregame (or, to be fair, drunken) tacos, or enjoying cocktails and dancing in the lounge. The Beat Camp parties have offered a niche sonic experience that brings high quality sounds and vibes to a club landscape that can cater to a specific kind of clientele.

The backroom parties Coyo Taco offers walk the fine line of being big, can’t-miss events, while maintaining an air of exclusivity. When you walk through the swinging back doors to get your first cocktail and feel out the DJ’s selections, you feel as though you are entering a speakeasy.

The party on January 9th will be no covert affair, however. From 8-10PM, the entire restaurant and patio will be celebrating the occasion. There will be free beer, draft margaritas, as well as select tacos off of the menu. The proceeds of what will be included on their discount 5$ menu will be donated to local charities. So, if the celebration of one of Wynwood’s most consistent venues or free tacos and beer is not enough to kill the guilt of partying on a Thursday, then know that you will be contributing to a good cause.
