Coronavirus Can’t Kill Miami Music Week Parties

Published on March 10, 2020

COVID-19 has been wreaking havoc on this year’s festival season with Winter Music Conference now joining Ultra Music Festival and SXSW in cancelling/postponing their 2020 events. While this pandemic has many people panicking and governments taking swift action, a good amount of Miami Music Week parties are going to go on as planned.

As we highlighted before, the majority of MMW events are taking place at private venues, leaving the fate of the parties at the promoter’s discretion. Unfortunately for the Get Lost crew, their event was to be held in the district of Hialeah who put a moratorium on public gatherings and effectively forced the cancellation of this year’s event. While the 24 hour Get Lost Miami event was sure to be a killer party, organizers stated that they will not be seeking an alternate venue as they “will not compromise the Get Lost experience in any form.”

Luckily for the thousands who were looking forward to MMW this year and are still planning on attending, there are many other parties that will not only be hosting exceptional talent, but are sure to get even rowdier now that attendee’s schedules have been freed up a little.

Here is a short list of some of the MMW parties that will be going on in spite of the COVID-19 fears. As many know, sometimes in the face of uncertainty, you just need to rave.
