Restauranteur turned businessman, Brian Mazza, is now expanding his empire even further. Always passionate about fitness and menswear, Mazza’s newest venture, High Performance Lifestyle Training (HPLT), just hosted a NYC weekend retreat.

The three-day health and wellness retreat included an opening night dinner at Le Pain Quotidien sponsored by Whoop, sunrise yoga at the top of the Empire State Building in partnership with ROAR Organic and strenuous HIIT workouts at NEOU. Staying true to their idea, the event kicked off with a sunrise run down Fifth Avenue, with members carrying a 500-lb rope.

Mazza’s idea was to create something focused on more than just physical fitness. Focusing on the “lifestyle” aspect, Mazza’s message is that feeling fit is based on lifestyle. Being mentally engaged and creating a lifestyle that’s centered around good health is more important than simply working out.

The event had a speaker day with inspiring panelists including CNN’s Brooke Baldwin, Women’s Health Editor in Chief Liz Plosser, NFL 50 champion Omar Bolden, Juice Press founder Marcus Antebi, Men’s League Lacrosse star Rob Pannell, SLT founder Amanda Freeman and social media influencer Devon Levesque. The keynotes were delivered by Former NFL player and Army veteran Daniel Rodriguez and former Navy Seal star David Goggins.

Mazza’s collaborated with Layer 8 to create a custom clothing line for participants.

Brian Mazza is known for being the co-founder of the wildly successful luxe sports bar chain, The Ainsworth Restaurant, which has made over $100 million in revenue in the food-and-beverage industry.

With success like that in the restaurant and clothing world, it seems only natural for Mazza to continue conquering industries. The website thinks of the retreat as “a celebration of laser-focused like-minded humans. Surround yourself with individuals who want to improve in every aspect of their life. HPLT is a tailored three-day retreat filled with human performance growth activities in a team environment. Keynote speakers, sunrise yoga & meditation, multiple HIIT workouts, team runs, and custom apparel will give you the tools to empower your inner savage to come out and elevate the quality of your everyday life,” focusing on all the aspects around physical health.

In speaking with Grit Daily, Brian Mazza said: “I’m seeing an amazing trend in society where people are wanting to become better in every aspect of their lives, and that’s why I created HPLT. The main ethos of the organization is to help you sharpen your tools as a high performer to bring out your best every single day. I live this life 24/7 and it’s made me successful in ways I couldn’t have ever imagined in business, as a father, and a husband. I’m excited to bring this brand to everyone to give them something tangible that can really change their life.”
