Joe Apprendi is a columnist at GritDaily. In 2006, Joe founded Collective, a pioneer in data-driven ad technology, where he was the Chief Executive Officer from 2006 to 2016 when it was acquired by Zeta Global. Business Insider recognized Joe as one of its 2014 Silicon Alley List of Technology leaders. A past winner of Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year® for Metro NY, Joe has served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB). Joe is a graduate of Oberlin College, where he received his BA in Economics.
