Adam Pieczonka is a co-founder of 1907 Foundation and 1907 Capital. Previously, he has worked at Knighthead Capital Management, LLC Ares Management LLC and Moelis & Company LLC. Adam has a BA from Ivey Business School at The University of Western Ontario and an MBA from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania. He launched 1907 Foundation in 2019 because of he realized the tremendous knowledge gaps that exist in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health. Along with several scientific experts as co-founders, they built a nonprofit focused on funding disruptive scientific research and tech advancements to catalyze the discovery of the causes and cures for mental illnesses. Working collaboratively and transparently are the cornerstones of 1907 Foundation to ensure that funding decisions are based on the purity of science. With this work, the complexities of the mind can be seen, medically understood, and effectively treated.
