Tip: Make sure you get your mammograms yearly or any checkups yearly

This is a big one because most women do go about their daily lives without getting proper yearly checkups. According to MedlinePlus, they state that “regular health exams and tests can help find problems before they start.” My mom always told me was, “Early detection saves lives,” and she is 100% right about that.

Some believe that they should only visit the doctor, OBGYN, or whomever when they get sick or have a problem, which is what you’re supposed to do if you are hurt or ill, but you will be surprised was a yearly checkup can do. Especially as a woman, we need special screenings and specialized exams, so we need to be on top of our game 24/7.

Waiting until the last minute to get these yearly exams and is not the ideal way to go. Even if you feel fine, you still should go to get your annual exams, because the only way you’re going to find out if something is wrong is to go. For example, the only way you’re going to find out if you have high blood pressure is to have it checked regularly.

Yes, this might seem like a pain in the butt having to take time off and schedule all of these appointments, but once you have them done and over with and all your tests come back standard, then you can go on about your day and wait another year to get checked.

Especially teenagers who are reaching that age of maturity, they need to know about these yearly checkups. If you don’t know, here is a list of annual checkups women from ages 18 to 39 should know about and also should be getting.

My mom always tells me that it’s better to be safe than sorry, and I still remember those words when I go for a daily checkup. Ladies, you are a beautiful vessel, so take care of your bodies we have a lot of stuff we have to put up with, so let’s keep our heavenly bodies in check.
